BTS releases ‘Butter’ holiday remix

New version available now

BTS has dropped a new holiday remix of “Butter.” The new remix is a carol pop genre track that underscores the trademark bright energy of the original version with an added touch of warmth and coziness reminiscent of a festive ambience, just in time for the holiday season.

Earlier this year, BTS topped the Billboard Hot 100 for ten weeks with “Butter,” a global mega-hit dubbed 2021’s song of the summer. The song also earned BTS “Artist of the Year” award at the 2021 American Music Awards. In addition, the septet received their second “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” Grammy nomination with the track.

Recently, the K-pop superstars released the explosive remix of “Butter” featuring Megan Thee Stallion in celebration of the massive response the song received all around the world. Whilst the original version put forth the distinctive personality of BTS, the latest version adds more flavor with the rap verses from Megan Thee Stallion.

The band just wrapped a four night stand at LA’s SoFi Stadium on December 2nd, their first in person show since 2019. The concerts followed the cancelation of its long-delayed Map of the Soul Tour due to COVID concerns. The band initially announced the tour in January 2020 but was postponed before it even began due to the pandemic.
