Paris Saint-Germain travel to RC Lens on Saturday with the home side within three points of second place in Ligue 1 behind their visitors. The men from the capital remain unconvincing after their 0-0 draw at home to OGC Nice but still hold a 12-point lead over Olympique de Marseille which could be cut to nine.

Franck Haise's men beat PSG in this fixture last season and will be celebrating 115 years of existence as well as Saint Barbara with a unique black and gold kit.

Team news

Lens: Wesley Said, Deiver Machado and Yannick Pandor are all out.

PSG: Ander Herrera and Sergio Ramos are out for this one while Neymar will undergo new tests next week and Julian Draxler is still working his way back from injury.

Storylines

Lens: Haise's men have won just one of their last five and drew at home to Angers last time out. Generally stronger on home turf, RC Strasbourg Alsace are the only side to have won at the Bollaert this season while Stade Brestois 29's 4-0 success was a rare blowout for Les Sang et Or.

PSG: Pochettino's men are unbeaten in seven but have drawn 0-0 twice in that time against Marseille and then Nice. PSG's last loss was away at Rennes, and this is the first of a complicated doubleheader with AS Monaco at home coming up next.

Prediction

The French giants should just about get the job done but Lens are no pushovers. Expect PSG to narrowly edge this but do not be surprised if it finishes as a draw. Pick: Lens 1-2 PSG.
