With Christmas right around the corner, tis the season for lots of Holiday events around Shreveport. Take a look at some of the things already happening and see what news you may have missed. 

Christmas Cheer is Upon Us

Holiday décor to go along with the festivities all month long at the Robinson Film Center and Abby Singer's Bistro.

Several businesses are beginning to get into the holiday spirit and the Robinson Film Center and Abby Singer's is bringing the cheer all month long. Holiday décor from top to bottom, screenings of your favorite Christmas movies and holiday-themed appetizer and drink options are some of the fun you can find there during Holi-Dazed! this season. 

Who cares about Santa Clause when you can get pictures with Krampus? Necromanor Haunted House is getting in on the fun by offering a Christmas-themed haunted house and photo opportunity with Santa's demon counterpart.

Other fun festivities to look forward to are Andy's Frozen Custard's newest holiday treat menu, the Shreveport Little Theatre's production of White Christmas The Musicaland Santa Claus visiting Bossier Parish Community College.

Shreveport's musical talent shines

For over 70 years the Wideman International Piano Competition has brought talent from all over the world to compete in Shreveport. This weekend you can attend this famed event and see it firsthand. Then on Monday, you can witness the tribute concert to honor the competition and its executive director. 

Jershika Maple found herself in the bottom three for the first time on this week's episode of NBC's The Voice. She received the instant save thanks to America voting live on Tuesday night to keep her in the competition. She has now advanced to the semi-finals.
