Shanty Town is not one of the major points of interest labelled on your map in Fortnite, which means that it can be quite tricky to find. This guide will show you exactly where to look.
Fortnite Chapter 2 will soon be coming to an end, which means that the island on which it takes place is about to undergo a huge renovation. The geography will be completely overhauled and many of the landmarks will be changed or even removed. In fact, for all we know it could be a fundamentally different landmass by the time Chapter 3 rolls around.
Given that the upcoming "End" event is basically going to wipe the slate clean and usher in a brand-new era of Fortnite, you don't have much time left to resolve any unfinished business that you may have with the current version of the game. After all, once Chapter 2 is over, any outstanding missions, battle pass rewards or challenges that you have yet to complete will be forfeit.
This extends to the paint bottle fetch quests that unlock new styles for your Toona Fish avatar. If you're trying to earn all of these cosmetics before the aforementioned deadline, then you will need to get a move on as there's plenty to find. Newsweek has already prepared guides for locating the "Cuddly Pink" paint bottles, as well as the "Diamond Blue" ones.
Where Is Shanty Town in 'Fortnite'?
If collecting the "Ghoulish Green" paint bottles is still on your to-do list, then you will need to head over to the Shanty Town in order to get them.
The problem is that this area is not clearly labelled on your map like Steamy Stacks, Coral Castle or Lazy Lake.
If you're struggling to find Shanty Town, it can be found tucked away in the southwesternmost corner of the map, in the Sludgy Swamp region. It has been marked with a blue pinpoint on the screenshot below.
Ghoulish Green Paint Bottle Locations
As for the Ghoulish Green paint bottles, there are three of these to find and they are all bunched very close together.
The first one is hovering above the drainpipe in the center of Shanty Town. You can either land there when you are first dropping into the match, or you can build a flight of stairs to reach it.
The next one is underneath the stilt house on the eastern outskirts of Shanty Town.
Nearby to that one, you will find the last paint bottle underneath the stilt house on the northern outskirts of Shanty Town.
Once you have got all three Ghoulish Green paint bottles, you will be able to unlock the "Ghoul Trooper" cosmetic for your Toona Fish avatar. This will cost 10 rainbow ink.
