Square Enix released a statement asking players to refrain from sharing Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker spoilers. The official Final Fantasy XIV Japanese Twitter account released a post, requesting that players be mindful of the content that they share. Additionally, the official Lodestone website went into detail about the sharing of Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker spoilers.
Square Enix shares that there is no limit to what players can share, discuss, or stream regarding Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, as long as it falls under its Material Usage License. Ultimately, Square Enix is simply asking players to be mindful of what they are sharing, and where they share it. There is no mention of any potential repercussion for players that do choose to share spoilers, or stream the game. This means that there are virtually no restrictions, outside of commercial use of its IP.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access is immediately available.
