Chris Janson's upcoming album will feature a song he co-wrote with Eric Church. Chris recently told Taste of Country, “It was an idea that he sent me, and he said, 'What do you think?' I said, 'Do you think we should co-write it?' Yes and yes, and so we did, and that was it.”
Chris added that while the two have gotten to be pretty good friends, they haven't had much time these days to spend time fishing, one of their favorite hobbies. He explained, “He's been in the midst of touring and I've been in the midst of touring pretty heavily, probably more heavily than either of us could have expected … We have not been fishing lately. But our friendship continues to grow together.”
The first single from Chris' upcoming album is his current single, “Bye Mom.”
