Rounding off 2021 by switching her platinum blonde wolf cut for a short mocha brown style, Eilish’s new look has attracted a cool 8.6 million likes on Instagram – and counting.

The new shade – which is perfect for winter and infinitely easier to look after than bleached hair – taps into the colour trend of the moment: mocha chocolate brown. Purveyors of the colour include Bella Hadid, who showed off a deeper brown hair Cannes Film Festival earlier in the year, as well as Emily Ratajkowski.
