High school basketball from Thursday night:

In girls’ action:
-Norfork improved to 11-2 with a 55-30 win over Ozark Mountain. The Lady Bears fall to 9-6.
-Valley Springs was a 73-64 winner over Nemo-Vista. The Lady Tigers are now 7-3.
-Mammoth Spring lost to Melbourne 63-46. The Lady Bears are now 10-4, while Melbourne improves to 4-0. For Mammoth Spring, Brynn Washam scored 19 points, and Megyn Upton netted 12.
-Lead Hill lost to Kingston 51-18 at the Bev Stone Tournament at Omaha.
-At the Blue Eye Tournament, Bergman downed Springfield Glendale 47-20 to improve to 14-0.
-Rural Special defeated Benton Harmony Grove 52-44 to move its record to 6-3.

In boys’ action:
-Mountain Home Christian Academy lost at home to Bakersfield 69-59. Gideon Spray paced the Eagles with 18 points, Gabe Spray had 14, and Trenton Cox scored 12.
-Calico Rock fell to Greers Ferry Westside 96-74 to fall to 12-3 on the season.
-Mammoth Spring edged Melbourne 47-43. Gavin Boddie scored 25 for the Bears who improve to 7-7 on the campaign. The Bearkatz fall to 1-1.
-Valley Springs is now 7-7 after losing to Quitman 58-45.
-Bergman improves to 12-2 with a 68-36 whipping of Waldron at the West Fork Tournament.
-Marshall won at Green Forest 77-63 to improve to 6-2.
-Rural Special came up short against Woodlawn 59-42.
-Harrison topped Belton, Missouri, at the Willard Tournament 71-61.

In other scores:
-The Mountain Home Christian Academy junior varsity girls defeated Bakersfield 31-21. Olivia Spray had 11 points, and Carolin Robinson scored 10.
-Bakersfield won the junior boys’ contest 50-40. For MHCA, Kolby Woods and Lucas Harrelson each scored 12 points.
