MU Origin 2 has just received yet another whopping content update, bringing it up to version 6.2.

Before we get into the nitty gritty, here’s a quick overview of MU Origin 2 for the uninitiated. Published by Webzen, MU Origin 2 is the second mobile spinoff of MU Online, the classic PC MMORPG that first came out in 2001.

The game sees you picking from Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Elf, Holy Mage, or Magic Gladiator and then venturing out into the MU Continent to complete quests, conquer dungeons, take on bosses, train pets, fight against other players, and much more.

Basically, if you can think of a classical MMORPG gameplay feature, it’s in here. And now there’s even more on offer thanks to the 6.2 update.

The star of the show is almost certainly Order Realm, a new dungeon that opens up after you reach level 300 and join the Order. You can enter the Order Realm once a day, either alone or in a party – though if you go in with others you can acquire buff effects.

You earn rewards, in the form of Order Contribution and Normal Soul Fragment, for clearing the entire Order Realm, though you can also earn claim rewards in proportion with the number of waves you manage to clear.

Next up there’s Trial of the Colosseum, available after you reach level 400. This sees you taking on other players in a free-for-all.

Elemental Battle becomes available once you reach level 470 and complete the Abyss Quest. Open every Sunday at 16:00 throughout Abyss Season, Elemental Battle lets you gain points by defeating monsters and other players, ascending to the next floor whenever you reach the target score.

There’s more, including Soul Spear, Guild Guardian, Refine Object, Mount Resurrection, and some general tweaks and expansions to the existing game content. Plus, Abyss Season 37 is due to begin on December 19th, allowing you to collect Abyss Coins and exchange them for Abyss Costumes.

More than enough to keep you busy until the next inevitably huge content update.
