'Weird Al' Yankovic bringing 'Ill-Advised Vanity Tour' to Erie's Warner Theatre in 2022

"Weird Al" Yankovic is headed to Erie, bringing "The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour" to the Warner Theatre.

Tickets for the May 15 performance at 7:30 p.m. at 811 State St. go on sale Dec. 10 at 10 a.m., officials announced. Prices are $79.75, $69.75 and $49.75. Tickets can be purchased at the Erie Insurance Arena box office, 809 French St.; by calling 814-452-4857; or at www.erieevents.com.

The six-month tour launches April 23 and includes 133 shows in North America, culminating with Yankovic's first concert appearance at New York City's Carnegie Hall, on Oct. 23, officials said.

Organizers said every performance will feature a different set list drawing from his back catalogue of 14 studio albums. Yankovic and his band will perform his non-parody material consisting of more obscure pastiches and original songs without high-octane theatrics, costumes, props or video screens.

Opening the show each night will be comedian Emo Philips.
