Amazon's December Free Games With Prime Headlines by Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit

Each month Amazon Prime members can get a variety of gaming bonuses and perks, including a host of free games. Amazon has shared the selection of titles that members can look forward to in December 2021, and it’s headlined by the racing title Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was first released in 2010, and one of its more unique features was the dual focus on racers and police, with a full career mode for both. Outside of Need For Speed, there’s the critically-acclaimed Frostpunk, which is set in an alternate history 19th century and mixes RTS and city-building with elements of survival.

The other big game is Journey to the Savage Planet, an adventure game released in 2020 that has players exploring an alien world and cataloguing its flora and fauna. Here’s the full list of free games for December 2021.

  • Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
  • Football Manager 2021
  • Journey to the Savange Planet
  • Frostpunk
  • Spellcaster University
  • Morkredd
  • YouTuber’s Life
  • Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1, 2, 3, and 4
  • Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse

As long as players claim the free games by January 3, 2022, it’s theirs to keep forever, or at least as long as they have an active Amazon Prime account. To claim games and learn more about the system as a whole, you can head to the official Prime Gaming Page.

In addition to free games, Prime Gaming also gives players a host of in-game content for a handful of other titles. In December there are 37 loot packs for games like Valorant, Fall Guys, Genshin Impact, League of Legends, and more. If you claim an in-game loot pack you’ll, generally, get to choose which system you’ll want a code for, if the game is available on more than PC.
