CAS Cable, a Parkersburg-based, family-owned company, recently submitted an application to provide service in the Kanawha Valley. The provider offers cable, telephone and internet services.
The hearings will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Marmet Recreation Center and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Sissonville High School auditorium.
If the application is approved, CAS Cable would provide competition to Suddenlink, which has been the only provider in the area for years.
