The Kia Telluride is racking up on accolades. How do two of the best midsize SUVs compare to the popular three-row SUV? Does the 2022 Kia Telluride smoke the competition?

The Hyundai Palisade, like the Kia Telluride, was introduced back in 2020. The Palisade may be new, but it has gained quite the following in the short time that it has been in production.

The 2022 Hyundai Palisade starts at $33,150. It uses a 3.8-liter V6 engine that makes 291 horsepower. It gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Palisade features several great standard features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features standard adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist.

The 2022 Honda Pilot is more seasoned than both the Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride. The Pilot has been around for almost two decades. In the automotive industry, even the most seasoned models can be dethroned.

The 2022 Honda Pilot starts at $36,830. It uses a 3.6-liter V6 engine to make 280 horsepower. The Pilot gets 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway.

The midsize SUV features Honda Sensing, a suite of safety and driver assistance features. It also comes standard with push-button start and rear-seat heater ducts.

The 2022 Kia Telluride starts at $32,790. It uses a 3.8-liter V6 engine to make 291 horsepower. The Telluride gets 20 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Kia Telluride is better than its rivals because of the many standard features that it offers. It comes standard with over 10 safety features, including forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and safe exit assist. The midsize three-row SUV also comes standard with a massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The Kia Telluride is the better midsize SUV because it offers more value to consumers in terms of technology and standard features. The Hyundai Palisade and Honda Pilot are both more expensive than the Telluride. Both SUVs offer fewer features than Kia’s model despite costing more money.

The Telluride was rated the best midsize three-row SUV by Edmunds. It is safe, comfortable, and, best of all, affordable. When it comes to the Kia Telluride vs. the Hyundai Palisade or the Kia Telluride vs. the Honda Pilot, competitors can’t touch Kia’s tech-savvy SUV model. The Telluride offers even more tech and comfort at higher trim levels. Are you down to ride with the Telluride, or do you think its success will be short-lived?
