On the evening of December 1, SM Entertainment's rookie girl group aespa attended the 2021 Visionary Awards. The event was held at the CJENM Center building. aespa was the only K-pop girl group and the second idol group besides BTS to score an award at this year's Visionary Awards.

aespa was honored an award for creating their own unique universe, with each member having a corresponding AI (ae in aespa's world) member. The SM Entertainment girl group broke traditional boundaries and brought out a new side to the K-pop industry.

On Twitter, a series of photos from fansites capture the moment aespa left the 2021 Visionary Awards. The images have received much attention from the public. However, out of all of the members, Karina is the one who garnered the most attention, thanks to her outstanding beauty.

Many compared her visuals to an aristocratic lady or a powerful female CEO who exudes a luxurious aura. People believe she is worthy of being one of the top visuals from the fourth generation of K-pop!

Karina's visuals have increasingly been receiving more and more attention. While aespa was in the United States, Karina gained attention for her visuals at the 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. During the event, Karina was praised for her fairy-like visuals, some even calling her a "living doll."

On November 1, Macy's revealed that aespa would be the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They performed "Savage" at the parade held on November 25, 2021.

On October 5, aespa dropped their first extended play, "Savage." The extended play contains six tracks, including a title track of the same name.
