UPDATE 12/3/2021
Officer Phillip Anson with the Omaha Police Department confirmed a non-fatal shooting early Thursday evening near 45th and Spencer Streets. On Friday OPD released the name of the suspect, 22-year-old Robert Pierce. He has been booked into Douglas County Corrections for 2nd degree assault and use of a weapon.
The shooting victim was identified by police as 30-year-old Seth Dabney, who was transported to Nebraska Medicine with non-life-threatening injuries along with a female dog bite victim, 20-year-old Skyler Pierce.
Anson noted that the dog was not an OPD K-9, but one that happened to be on the scene.
