Women’s FA Cup final: When, where, the Matildas in action and how to watch

The 2020-21 Women's FA Cup final will see Arsenal and Chelsea face off at Wembley on Monday morning (AEDT).

Defending champions Manchester City were knocked out by the Blues in the semi-finals with both Chelsea and Arsenal booking their spot in the decider following 3-0 wins. 

These clubs are locked in a tight battle for top spot in the Women's Super League (WSL) and will be desperate to edge out the other for some early silverware.

Arsenal have lifted this trophy a record 14 times and enter the match as current WSL leaders without a defeat in eight straight games across all competitions. 

Chelsea, meanwhile, have won the Women's FA Cup just twice and trail the Gunners by a single point in the WSL this season. 

These two sides last met in the league in early September with Arsenal claiming a narrow 3-2 win.

Which Matildas will be playing in the match? 

The Matildas all-time record goalscorer Sam Kerr will be hoping to fire Chelsea to victory in the Women's FA Cup final and scored a hat-trick in her last outing for the club.

While Arsenal's Aussie trio Caitlin Foord, Steph Catley and Lydia Williams will all be hoping to do their part to inspire the Gunners to victory. 

All four players were involved in the Matildas' recent friendlies against the United States with Kerr and Catley starting both matches.
