Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor has booked her next lead role in upcoming film Fair Play.
According to Deadline, Dynevor, best known for playing Daphne in Netflix's hit Regency series produced by Shonda Rhimes, will feature opposite Star Wars alum Alden Ehrenreich.
The American actor played the titular role in Solo: A Star Wars Story, following his roles on the Coen brothers' Hail, Caesar! and Stoker.

Penned by Chloe Domont, the film is set after a woman's promotion at a cut-throat hedge fund threatens to uncover unspeakable secrets that might impact her relationship with her fiancé. Production for the movie is slated to start in January 2022 in Serbia.
Meanwhile, Dynevor will reprise the role of Daphne Bridgerton in the second instalment of the popular series.
Despite Dynevor returning to the show, she will be more of a supporting character this time around, in line with Bridgerton's source material, the series of books from author Julia Quinn. Much like the novels, each season will focus on a different Bridgerton sibling, and it's now time Daphne's eldest brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), took the spotlight.

Fans of the show will also have to deal with the absence of Daphne's husband, Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings (René-Jean Page). Earlier this year, it was announced Page had decided not to return for another Regency adventure.
Following her breakthrough on the series, Dynevor went to star on another period drama — and her feature film debut — The Colour Room. Directed by Claire McCarthy, the film tells the story of groundbreaking ceramicist Clarice Cliff, portrayed by Dynevor.
The cast also includes The Crown's Matthew Goode and The Walking Dead actor David Morrissey.
Bridgerton season 1 is now available to watch on Netflix. Season 2 is in production. Secret Cinema with Fever Present Bridgerton opens in February 2022 in a secret outer London location. To purchase tickets, head here.
