ABC News is airing an exclusive and emotional interview with actor and producer Alec Baldwin this week, following a fatal shooting on the set of his movie “Rush.”
Alec Baldwin’s “Unscripted” special airs on ABC on Thursday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m. ET(5 p.m. PT). You can watch it on FuboTV (7-day free trial).
Baldwin recounts the devastating incident on the set of “Rush,” a film he acted in and co-produced. On Oct. 21, a prop gun fired and fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in the chest during a dress rehearsal of the Western film. The incident happened at the Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Hutchins was pronounced dead after being airlifted to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. Although Baldwin was reportedly holding the gun that fired a live round of bullets, he is claiming he didn’t pull the trigger.
The interview will be conducted by George Stephanopoulos. On Friday, Dec. 10, a two-hour “20/20″ episode delves into events that led up to the shooting and pending investigations into what went wrong.
