Guerilla Opera to Stream 2016 Production of ‘Loose, Wet, Perforated’

Parma Recordings is set to present an encore presentation of its 2016 production of “Loose, Wet, Perforated.”

The opera by Nicholas Vines (composer and librettist on the work) was directed by Austin Regan and tells the story of “Loose” and “Wet” as they compete in a game show.

The opera runs for approximately 75 minutes and is sung in English.

Vines is a renowned composer whose works have been performed by such organizations as Alarm Will Sound, BMOP, Ensemble Offspring, the Schola Cantorum Gedanesis Chamber Choir, the BT Scottish Ensemble, the Australian Piano Quartet, Acacia Quartet, Callithumpian Consort, Firebird Ensemble, mmm…, Guerilla Opera, ChamberMade Opera, Ensemble Apex, the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, among others.

Guerilla Opera was founded in Boston in 2007 and has performed over 40 new works.
