UPDATE: Justin Faulk was added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol prior to Thursday's game, so Jake Walman was a late addition to the lineup.
Soon after the St. Louis Blues arrived at Amalie Arena for their morning skate on Thursday in Tampa Bay, the team learned that goalie
Jordan Binnington had tested positive for COVID-19
and would be required to enter the League's protocols.
As a result, Ville Husso will have to carry the load for the near future, starting with Thursday's rematch with the defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning (6 p.m. CT, BSMW, 101 ESPN).
Due to salary cap constraints, the Blues will have emergency backup goaltender Kyle Konin on the bench for Thursday's game.

"We put out a release that we've recalled (goalie) Charlie Lindgren (from Springfield), but that's actually going to be tomorrow," Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong clarified. "Under League rules, tonight we're going to use an emergency backup. Craig (Berube) and I talked to him about 20 minutes ago and had a good conversation. He had a morning skate today with his beer league guys and he said he was on fire and ready to go, so we're excited to have him in here."

Armstrong on goalie situation

"It's one of those things, because of our injuries and (two COVID cases), we don't have the cap space to bring a guy up for tonight," Armstrong added.
With the exception of Husso in goal, the Blues are not expected to have any further lineup changes for Thursday's game.
