Pokemon GO Season Of Heritage Event: Times. Spawns. Bonuses & Other
Niantic prepared a Season of Heritage event, Pokemon Go, in preparation for the January release of Pokemon Legends. The event features a variety of new Pokemon spawns in the wild as well as egg hatches. There are also special bonuses and three Timed Research Stardust Challenges.
Season of Heritage Event Times
The Heritage Season begins on December 1, 2021 (11:59 am local time) and continues until March 1, 2021 (11:59 pm local time). Both the spawns as well as the bonuses will be affected.
Season of Heritage Pokemon Spawns
Pokemon will change for different locations during the event. The Pokemon you see will vary depending on where you are located. This will vary depending on where you are located in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. You can find the following information depending on where you are located:
City Porygon, Snubbull Bronzor, Bronzor and Trubbish.
Forest Caterpie and Taillow Croagunk, Joltik Ferroseed Karrablast Shelmet and many more (Caterpie, Taillow Croagunk, Croagunk Ferroseed and Caterpie can all be shiny).
Mountains Clefairy and Teddiursa. Teddiursa. Meditite. Numel. Hippopotas. Munna.
Bodies Water – Psyduck and Wingull, Barboach and Finneon, Feebas, Bidoof, and many more (all can shine apart from Finneon).
Northern Hemisphere: Delibirds, Turtwigs, Chimchars, Piplup’s, Cottonees, Vanillites, Winter Form Deerlings and many more (of which, the first four can shine).
Southern Hemisphere Tangela, Treecko and Torchic, Mudkip and Carvanha, Combee, Summer Form Deerling, and many more (all can be shiny except for Combee or Deerling).
This event has also seen a change in the hatching of Pokemon from the various 2,5- and 10km eggs.
2km Poliwag, Bellsprout and Swinub, Meditite Barboach Swablu Bunnelby, and many more (all of which can be shiny).
5km Onix, Azurill and Happiny, Munchlax Snover, Froakie and Hippopotas, and many more (all of which can be shiny except for Munchlax or Froakie).
10km — Audino and Darumaka, Mienfoo and Rufflet, Espurr and Goomy, Noibat, and many more (audio, Darumaka and Rufflet are also available).
5km Adventure Sync Reward – Cranidos, Shieldon and Frillish. Skrelp. Clauncher. Dedenne. (Cranidos and Shieldon are shiny).
10km Adventure Sync Rewards – Dratini (and all other shiny things aside from Noibat), Bagon, Beldum and Riolu, Deino, Deino, and Riolu
Seasonal Bonuses
As usual for new events, several bonuses have been made available as the event begins. They include enhanced effectiveness of incense while stationary or walking, increased damage to Pokemon battling in remote raids and guaranteed gifts from spinning Pokestops. There are also certified extra candy for trading Pokemon and secured XL candy for changing them. These bonuses are available during this live event. They will help you power up your Pokemon and catch the Pokemon that aren’t there.
Season of Heritage Monthly Timed Research
A new Timed Research task will be available at the beginning of each month. December’s task will be free for everyone. January and February will only be available to those who have pre-purchased tickets for Pokemon GO Tour Johto. This event has been teased for 26-27 February.
The December Timed Research Challenge is based on Stardust. For every Pokemon you catch, the monthly bonus is double Stardust. You have December to reach your goal of earning 120,000 Stardust. Each target will bring you rewards. To unlock the Deino Hat avatar reward, you must complete it all. These are the Stardust rewards and targets:

The January Timed Research will focus on XP. You can earn 240,000 XP in the month. If you do everything, Goomy hat is your avatar reward.
