For the second straight day, the Patriots had a player on injured reserve return to practice.

On Wednesday, it was Jamie Collins and on Thursday it was Harvey Langi. Both players need to be activated to the roster within 21 days or else they revert back to injured reserve and are out for the season.

Langi had been on injured reserve since late October with a reported sprained MCL.

The Patriots will need to make corresponding roster moves to get either of these players on the roster and that may be hard to do, especially in Langi's case.

J.J. Taylor and Kyle Dugger were absent for a second straight day, as they are on the COVID list.
