Police said the suspect struck the victim from behind.

The man then made anti-Asian slurs after she asked him why he struck her, authorities said.

The victim was treated privately for lower back injuries, officials said. She told WABC that her attacker laughed and said "I got you good" before uttering the slurs.

She said that she had just gotten off work as a nurse and hasn't been able to work since.
