A Conway teen has been charged with murder in the death of person in Carolina Forest.
Devon Charles Smith, 17, of Conway, was charged with murder.
Mikayla Moskov, a spokesperson for the Horry County Police Dept., said officers responded to Augusta Plantation Drive near River Oaks Drive outside of Myrtle Beach on Nov. 27 for a reported shooting.
One person was killed.
The victim was identified as 18-year-old Sebastian Sanders, of Marion, according to Horry County coroner Tamara Willard.
Willard said the Sanders was shot multiple times in the parking lot.
Officers said when they arrived at Seaside Grove apartments they were flagged down by a witness administering first aid to the victim laying on his back unconscious.
Horry County Police are investigating.
