Not to be that person, but I kinda stopped watching MAMA after my favorites stopped showing up. The stages, performances, and energy haven't quite been the same. There are other big acts that have performed in the past that I don't follow also so the magnitude and importance of MAMA has lowered a bit over the years to me.

IMO the 2015 lineup actually reflected the most popular artists in Korea that year (at least pretty well). This year's lineup should include IU, Lee Mujin, those trot singers who've been dominating charts. Then the lack of BTS etc wouldn't be as glaring. And they wouldn't have to worry about inflating the number of attendees with super-sized 4th gen groups.
