The Pokemon Company released new information regarding the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Ver. 1.1.2 update patch. The update patch includes two adjustments that will allow for better gameplay. Specifically, one bug fix in the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl update patch fixes the bug that hard locked players from progressing the game in some circumstances. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The Ver 1.1.2 Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl update patch notes are as follows:
- Fixed some bugs that would prevent players from progressing under certain circumstances.
- Some fixes have been made to allow for more comfortable gameplay.
Additionally, the patch notes mention that the games will receive changes made to communication in a future update. This concerns the communication within the Union Rooms found in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Through a future update, more people will be able to communicate with one another in the Union Rooms. The update will also add a “greeting” feature.
In November 2021, Nintendo announced Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl sales had passed 1.3 million copies in Japan alone. However, this numbers only totals physical sales for the titles and does not include digital sales.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are immediately available for the Nintendo Switch.
