Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez just spent their first Thanksgiving together, and the back-on couple fully intends to spend Christmas side by side too, Entertainment Tonight reports. A source talked to the outlet about the couple’s plans and dropped a big hint that Affleck is planning to get Lopez something extraordinary this year.

The source’s comment comes the same day Affleck spoke in a just-published WSJ Magazine interview about his hope to be a good husband in the future and how his rekindled love story with Lopez, who he first dated and was engaged to in the early 2000s, was “beautiful.”

In regards to Bennifer’s holiday plans, Entertainment Tonight’s source said Lopez and Affleck are “still planning on spending Christmas together and are wanting to make it as special as possible for the kids. [They don’t] know exactly what they will be doing yet, [but] they want all the kids to be together for the holiday if possible and do something just the two of them as well.”

“Ben is planning something special as a Christmas gift for Jennifer,” the source added, and Lopez is “excited [because she] has always loved Christmas and cannot wait to spend it with Ben.”

In September, a source told Us Weekly that Lopez and Affleck really see marriage in their future. “They feel so blessed to be living this real-life fairy tale, and will be getting engaged—then married—down the line,” Us’s source said. “Without any shadow of doubt.”

Affleck also told WSJ Magazine about the beauty of second chances—in life and love. “I am very lucky in my life in that I have benefited from second chances, and I am aware that other people don’t even get first chances,” he said. “I’ve had second chances in my career. I’ve had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures. The one thing you really need to avail yourself of the opportunities provided from that growth is the second chance. I’ve definitely tried to take advantage of that. I haven’t always been successful, but in cases in which I have, they’ve turned out to be the defining aspects of my life. But tell your wife to imagine the best story [of how Lopez and I got back together], and I’m sure that’s the true version.”
