New York State Police charged a Jamestown man with criminal contempt in the 2nd degree after he and another individual were pulled over on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret for a traffic violation last Saturday. State Troopers say an investigation revealed that both vehicles were traveling together and that the other driver was the protected party in a stay-away order of protection against 21-year-old Frank Strohauer. Strohauer was placed under arrest, transported to SP Fredonia and processed. Strohauer was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court.
