Tiger Woods did a fantastic job of lowering expectations for a possible return to the PGA Tour in a Monday interview with Golf Digest and a Tuesday press conference. But by Wednesday night, golf fans were freaking out again over the prospects of another successful Tiger comeback. And rightly so.
The PGA Tour tweeted out a quick video of Woods hitting a couple shots on the range at the Hero World Challenge, and let's just say this isn't a softly hit wedge like the one he posted a couple weeks ago. Have a look for yourself:

Seriously, that's a fairway wood. And he looks to be going after it pretty darn good. And that sounds pretty darn pure. . .
Yeah, yeah, so there's still a long way to go before we see him tee it up for real (Woods is hosting this week's tournament in the Bahamas), but that's another positive sign. OK, excuse us while we watch this video another 100 1,000 times.
