Dallas-based Match, the dating app company, has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by the founder of Tinder after the two companies merged four years ago.
Tinder founder Sean Rad and some former Tinder executives sued Match, saying the company cheated them out of a lot of money by under-valuing Tinder leading up to the merger.
The settlement announced yesterday calls for Match to pay more than $400 million to Rad and the others.
The deal was reached after a nearly month-long trial that was due to go to the jury after the closing arguments that were scheduled for today.
