Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Al Chapman will face new threats from Cain Dingle in December, as Al persists with his devious plan to sabotage The Woolpack.
Ever since Al (Michael Wildman) first invested in the pub, he has been scheming to ruin the business so that he can turn the land into luxury apartments instead.
After Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) all discovered the truth about Al's deception last week, the ruthless businessman wasn't put off and declared that the trio would soon be begging him to shut down the pub, following its ongoing financial problems.

It looks like the approach of Christmas won't be putting much good cheer into Al's heart, as he presses on with his plans to ruin the Woolpack over the coming weeks.
When Al agrees to Marlon's Christmas drinks promotion idea in upcoming episodes, Marlon is delighted, but he is unaware of Al's true intentions.
The next day, a smirking Al confirms that there has been a mistake with the Christmas lunch promotion which means that diners are entitled to a free bottle of champagne, rather than the single complimentary glass that Marlon had originally intended.
Overjoyed by the expensive mistake, Al gleefully pops a bottle of champagne for Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler). Marlon, meanwhile, starts to suspect that Al might have had something to do with the error.

Sheepish Marlon is forced to confess all about the promotion mix-up to Chas, who is at her wits' end with everything that has been going on. She soon confirms that Al altered the draft of Marlon's email about the promotion in order to stitch them up.
Al continues to happily dole out free bottles of champagne to the customers, but Chas soon turns up to inform him that the promotion is over, throwing a bottle against the wall to make her point even clearer.
Unfortunately, it seems that Al's plot to wind up Chas is working a treat, as Chas lashes out at Nicola. This causes off-duty PC Swirling (Andy Moore) to become concerned by the volatile atmosphere in the pub.

Poor Chas manages to hold it together enough to put Al in his place, but she is left feeling like a trembling wreck by all the stress.
When Cain (Jeff Hordley) gets wind of Al's latest antics, he is seething. Despite PC Swirling warning him away from Al, Cain makes some murderous threats towards Al.
Al is unfazed, confident that he has the Dingles beaten once and for all – but has he underestimated Cain?
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, December 13 on ITV.
