CBS Sports reports New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge received nine write-in votes in New York City’s mayoral election last month.

Judge received five votes from Staten Island, three from Brooklyn and one from Manhattan. Fellow Yankees outfielders Aaron Hicks and Brett Gardner secured a vote apiece in Manhattan.

Judge ranked first among athletes receiving write-in votes; New York Knicks forward Julius Randle came in second with six votes.

Yankees legend and National Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter received one write-in vote, according to the Statement and Return Report for Certification.

New York Jets quarterback Mike White received two write-in votes. The election came two days after his breakout performance, when he threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Brooklyn NetsKyrie Irving and James Harden won a vote apiece, and “Kevia Durant” -- presumably the 11-time All-Star Kevin Durant -- earned a vote in Brooklyn.

Former New York Mets slugger Darryl Strawberry also received two write-in votes. Current Mets stars Jacob DeGrom and Pete Alonso each received one write-in vote.

And how about this: one vote for Numbah One, with former WFAN host Mike Francesa picking up a write-in vote from Staten Island.

Democrat Eric Adams won the election with 67% of the vote, beating Republican challenger Curtis Sliwa. Adams will replace outgoing mayor Bill de Blasio. CNN reports Adams, “the retired police captain and former state senator, will be the second Black mayor in the history of the country’s largest city (Democrat David Dinkins served from 1990 to 1993).”
