The high school basketball season tips off today across the area. Broken Bow begins its season tonight as they travel to Loup City to face the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels. The girls varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow. Tonight’s area doubleheader will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com.

The Broken Bow and Arcadia/Loup City wrestling teams open their seasons against one another tonight. Bow and ALC will be joined by Wood River for a triangular tonight at Arcadia high school (6 p.m.) Ansley/Litchfield will begin their wrestling season tonight when they travel to Pleasanton for a Quad with Pleasanton, Axtell, and Elm Creek (5 p.m.)
