Emmerdale has revealed a first look as Meena Jutla's Christmas storyline begins.

Meena (Paige Sandhu) has been tipped as one to watch over the festive season as her sinister serial killer plot takes more twists and turns.

Viewers have already seen Meena kill Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker, escaping detection each time. Now it seems that Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) could be her next target.

In upcoming scenes, Meena continues to grow closer to Dawn's ex-boyfriend Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).

Meena is overjoyed when she manages to convince Billy to let her move in with him for Christmas.

Although Billy says yes to this, it's clear that he has some obvious reservations and may not be fully committed to their relationship.

Soon afterwards, Billy bumps into Dawn at the shop and shares a joke with her about Meena's campaign to move herself in.

Billy and Dawn then smile sadly before parting, with both secretly regretful over how things have turned out between them.

As Meena watches on suspiciously, is she about to discover that the pair still have feelings for each other? Will this be bad news for Dawn if so, or could her evil attentions soon turn elsewhere?

In a recent press release showcasing the soap's Christmas storylines, Emmerdale bosses teased: "The sense of a threat from within the village still looms large, but it is now Dawn who needs to watch her back.

"But could there be other villagers in danger before the week is over?"
