ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey returns to WCHA action this weekend with a home series against Bemidji State at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The Huskies and Beavers will play at 3:00 p.m. CST Friday and 2:00 p.m. Saturday. The Huskies are fresh off a fantastic nonconference trip to RPI over Thanksgiving, earning their third sweep of the season by outscoring the Engineers 8-3. Jenniina Nylund picked up WCHA Forward of the Week honors after scoring four goals and an assist with a hat trick in Saturday's win. She along with linemates Emma Gentry and Taylor Lind each skated to plus-six weekends. The trio have been a force as SCSU's top line, with Lind (3-11-14, +5) leading in points, Gentry (8-3-11, +5) ahead in goals while Nylund (7-5-12, +7) is second in goals, assists and points. Mackenzie Bourgerie (4-5-9) has centered the second line with a career-high nine points. Dayle Ross leads in blocks with 29 while McKenna Wesloh (1-4-5) paces all defenders in points with five. Emma Polusny made an impressive return to action against RPI by stopping 33-of-34 shots in a win and is 13 saves away from moving to second in program history. Sanni Ahola earned her fourth win of the season last week and has fared well against the Beavers, owning a .942 save percentage in two starts.

Bemdiji State stands 4-8-2 on the year, 1-8-1 in WCHA play. Graysen Myers (5-6-11) leads in assists and points while Paige Beebe (6-2-8) is the goal leader. Reece Hunt (2-6-8) has added eight points with six assists. Reigning WCHA Goaltender of the Month Hannah Hogenson owns a .922 save percentage with a 2.85 goals against average. The Beavers picked up a big point against No. 1 Wisconsin to open November, tying 0-0 behind a brilliant performance by Hogenson.

The Huskies travel to Minnesota State next weekend to close out the first half of the season.
