The GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition has been a hot mess. Thankfully, Rockstar Games has finally acknowledged what kind of mess their supposed GTA Trilogy remastered has been, with promises of fixes coming along the way. In fact, as a sign of goodwill, they also re-released the original versions of the games on the Rockstar client (but not on other platforms, like Steam, so this act of goodwill feels a bit half-hearted.)

With the arrival of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition Title Update 1.03, bug fixes for all three games are now live on PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, and the PS5. Unfortunately, if you're playing the game on the Nintendo Switch, then you're out of luck. You're supposed to wait for a couple more days for the Title Update, although we don't think any patch could fix the unoptimized game on the Nintendo Switch.

GTA 6 Reportedly To Face A Major Delay

The patch notes are quite lengthy. This is good and bad at the same time. It's good knowing that there are a lot of bugs getting fixed right now. It's bad, however, because this just confirms just how utterly broken the games were when they got shipped. Imagine, these aren't even all of the bugs that they have to fix in the GTA Trilogy remastered collection. There are still a lot more. We're expecting to see more of these fixes coming our way, and hopefully, Rockstar can eventually salvage this game and actually make it playable.
