Parts of Skyline, Seven Bridges Road closed for season

The closures include 3 segments in east Duluth and 1 section of the Skyline in the west end of the city.

Portions of Skyline Parkway and Seven Bridges Road are closed to vehicles for the season Wednesday.

The annual closures will be in place until next spring, according to a news release from the city of Duluth.

The closures include three segments in east Duluth in the areas of the main Hawk Ridge overlook and Seven Bridges Road along Amity Creek:

  • 0.4 miles of Skyline Parkway from east of Glenwood Street to Maxwell Road;
  • Seven Bridges Road from the chalet to Maxwell Road;
  • Maxwell Road is also closed from Skyline Parkway to Oak Street.

A section of Skyline Parkway is also closed in the western end of Duluth, from 0.3 miles south of where the Skyline intersects with North 100th Avenue West to the west end of city limits.
