The New York Mets have been busy this offseason, spending a boatload of owner Steve Cohen’s money.

The Amazins have brought in ace hurler Max Scherzer and outfielder Sterling Marte among others.

Soon after that, oddsmakers in Vegas made the Mets one of the top five teams to win the World Series in 2022.

Although that could be a big stretch, the Mets figure to make a playoff run in 2022.

The team recently put tickets up for sale for the 2022 season. The Mets open the season on March 31 vs. the Washington Nationals at a time to be determined. Tickets start at $64.

Other big games like the annual Subway Series vs. the crosstown rival New York Yankees will be staged on July 26-27. The two teams will play at Yankee Stadium the following month for a total of four games this year. Tickets for the Subway Series at Citi Field start at $55.

The Mets finished with a 77-85 mark in 2021, third place in the NL East, 13 games behind division winner and World Series champion Atlanta Braves.
