The teaser campaign for the Ford Bronco Raptor continues as we’re getting a glimpse of the highly anticipated model in action.
Shared by The Bronco Nation, which Ford promotes as an “independent online community” for the SUV, the video shows a lightly camouflaged prototype playing in the sand and posing next to a standard model.
While the clip isn’t too revealing, we can see plenty of differences that help to separate the Bronco Raptor from its more mainstream counterpart. Starting up front, there’s a unique mesh grille with prominent “FORD” lettering instead of the usual “BRONCO” branding. We can also see a heavy duty front bumper, extended fender flares, and black wheels wrapped in meaty off-road tires that reportedly measure 37 inches.

Other notable highlights include an R-branded rear differential cover, a dual exhaust system and what is apparently an upgraded suspension. The prototype also sports unique taillights, but those are presumably only temporary.
Ford is staying tight-lipped, but the latest reports suggest the model will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. In the Ford F-150 Raptor, it produces 450 hp (336 kW / 456 PS) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque when running on premium gasoline. However, older rumors indicated the model could have a smaller 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with 400 hp (298 kW / 406 PS) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) of torque.
While a number of questions remain, Ford has already confirmed the Bronco Raptor will be introduced next year.
