Active COVID-19 hospitalizations reach all-time high in New Hampshire
COVID-19 hospitalizations hit another all-time high Wednesday in New Hampshire, with more than 400 cases reported for the first time of the pandemic.State health officials said 403 people are currently hospitalized in New Hampshire for COVID-19. That's the highest total of the pandemic and an increase of 109% since Nov. 1.After two days of declines, the number of active cases has once again risen, Health officials said there are 7,547 active cases of COVID-19 in New Hampshire.More than 1,000 new cases in a single day were reported for the 10th time in the past month, with 1,227 new positive test results reported Tuesday, health officials said.Nine more Granite Staters have died of COVID-19, officials said. Three were under the age of 60, while the others were all age 60 or older.The seven-day test positivity rate has risen to 12.4%.
