Band releases new single, about the ties that bind

Band Ink to Spill released “Motion of the Ocean” on Nov. 16.

The band Ink to Spill, which includes islander Gus Reeves, has a new music release, “Motion of the Ocean” — a nostalgic glimpse at fond memories that aims to hug at the heartstrings.

Reeves is a composer and vocalist who, when teamed up with lyricist C’Quill, is the creative backbone of Ink to Spill. Also contributing lead vocals and guitar, Gus’ musical architecture provides the basis for Ink to Spills’ collaboration.

The release is the conclusion of a trio of recent singles that are an emotional journey throughout their lead songwriter’s past recollections of both good and bad experiences with family.

The single was released on Nov. 16 and can be seen and heard on YouTube.
