Here are December's PS Plus games

‘Tis the season for free games! Or it is if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber, anyway. This month, Sony is giving away three titles too.

December’s PS Plus games

Here’s what you’re getting from December’s free games with PS Plus:

  • Godfall: Challenger Edition (PS4/PS5)
  • Lego DC Super-Villains (PS4)
  • Mortal Shell (PS4)

PS5 and PS4 players can pick up Godfall: Challenger Edition, a new version of the action loot-slasher that’s friendlier for new players. There are three new modes in the Challenger Edition: Lightbringer, Dreamstones and the Ascended Tower of Trials. Each is endgame-level content, though some snazzy gear is given to you straight away to do these modes.

PS4 players get Lego DC Super-Villains  free of charge. It’s, well, a Lego game! You likely already know what to expect here.

PS4 players can also grab Mortal Shell, a Dark Souls-like action RPG full of gothic imagery. It’s supposed to be pretty good, not to mention a decent title to tide you over until  Elden Ring  comes out.

A fairly solid list of games, all told. Also, a reminder that  November’s PS Plus freebies are still available  if you didn’t puck them up last month, including:

  • The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (Playstation VR)
  • Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning (PS4)
  • First Class Trouble (PS4/PS5)
  • Knockout City (PS5)
