Get ready to get to know Noella Bergener better. The social justice-minded and outspoken mom, who has popped up on The Real Housewives of Orange County in the past, joins the cast for Season 16, along with fellow RHOC newbie Dr. Jen Armstrong.

In a Bravo Insider exclusive video shared during the Season of Getting, Noella is spilling all about her life. "I'm a true California girl," Noella, who was born and raised in Cali, explains in the clip, above. She's also a mom to "two amazing kiddos and to my dogs," as well as a former model, but she notes, "once a model, always a model."

She goes on to say that "Orange County... they've not seen somebody like me before. I am a biracial, liberal, bisexual, bilingual woman who's very proud and very outspoken."

Noella is also politically-minded and "definitely trying to emphasize everything with the Black Lives Matter movement," adding in the video that she is using her platform to promote Black-owned businesses.

Still, she thinks fans may make some judgments about her before they get to know her. "Like my best friends would say they're shocked I'm not a bitch," Noella explains in the video, above. "Apparently, I look like one, and then I open my mouth, and then they realize I actually have a really good heart. So looks are a little deceiving. Don't be fooled by the way people look. Don't judge a book by its cover."

Noella's BravoTV.com bio also sheds more light on who the Season 16 newbie is and what her life will look like this season. "Noella Bergener’s world is turned upside down when her husband unexpectedly files for divorce. Her lavish lifestyle gets ripped out from underneath her as the divorce poses questions about her financial future while she cares for her children," her bio notes. "While her shocking predicament makes the others question what is really going on, Noella finds solace in her friendship with a sympathetic Shannon [Storms Beador]. With news of a recent death in her family, Noella finds her emotions, patience, and friendships tested, but that doesn’t keep her from doubling down and speaking her mind even when it results in a fiery backlash."
