BATGIRL Has Started Production; Directors Kick It Off by Releasing Photo
Production has begun for the upcoming HBO Max Batgirl film. Directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi posted on Instagram that the shooting for the film has begun, and they released a photo of the film slate to prove it. We also get a small glimpse of the set in the background, and the desk of Officer Barbara Gordon.
Actress Leslie Grace will bring Barbara Gordon to life on the screen, and the film will see the return of J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Jim Gordon from Justice League.
We haven’t received a synopsis for the film yet, but check out the image below, and stay tuned for details on Batgirl before it hits HBO Max sometime in 2022.
