British heavy metal act Iron Maiden announced it will bring its Legacy of the Beast World Tour to Southern California in 2022.

The tour, which launched in 2021, is stopping at Honda Center in Anaheim on Wednesday, Sept. 21 and North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on Sunday, Sept. 25.

The band dropped its 17th studio album, “Senjutsu,” in September, and this tour, which launched overseas earlier this year, features a mix of the new songs and fan-favorites including “2 Minutes to Midnight,” “The Trooper,” “Fear of the Dark” and “Run to the Hills.”

Metal band Trivium will open both Southern California shows.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10 at Ticketmaster.com. Registration for first access to tickets is now open through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform and runs until 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 with the presale starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8. The Iron Maiden fan club presale begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at ironmaiden.com.

Iron Maiden also just inked a deal with Marvel to create a new collection of apparel and accessories that feature iconic Marvel characters and Iron Maiden’s beloved skeletal mascot, Eddie. The designs include Wolverine, Venom, Thanos and Deadpool immersed in Iron Maiden’s iconic album and single artwork for releases like “Fear of the Dark,” “The Trooper” and “Killers.” The merchandise is now available on the band’s official website.
