The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a great spot to make the playoffs right now but seem to be dealing with some injury issues at the moment. Antonio Brown's playing status for their next game against the Atlanta Falcons has been revealed. Things aren't looking good for the veteran receiver.

According to Dov Kleiman, Bruce Arians claims that “it's doubtful Antonio Brown plays against the Falcons on Week 13.” The Buccaneers appear to be without their star veteran receiver once again, as Brown has struggled to heal up his injury.

Antonio Brown has missed multiple weeks and looks to miss another game for the Buccaneers. “The injury is more extensive than they originally thought it with it spreading to the heel. In hindsight, they may have put him on IR a couple (of) weeks ago,” per Pewter Report.

It sounds like the team doctors were confident that Antonio Brown's injury would heal up. Instead, it seems to have gotten worse and the Buccaneers' coaching staff might want to consider putting him on the IR. With the playoffs right around the corner, it would be smart of Tampa Bay to give Brown three weeks to get right and come back in full health at the start of the postseason.

With that said, according to Adam Schefter, “Antonio Brown is expected to miss at least the next two weeks.” That means the Buccaneers will be without Brown for the Falcons as well as their game against the Buffalo Bills.

With Antonio Brown likely sidelined for the next two weeks, the Buccaneers might just put the veteran receiver on the IR list. That would at least open up a spot on the roster for the time being and give Brown three full weeks to heal up his ankle and heel.

We'll see how it plays out, but the Bucs will be leaning on Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Rob Gronkowski in the passing game for now.
