The top-streamed artist on Spotify for 2021 is Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny, who has made the top of the list for the second year in a row.
The singer and rapper’s songs were streamed a total of 9.1 billion times this year, compared with 8.1 billion last year.
Taylor Swift, Drake, Justin Bieber, and BTS round out the top five most-streamed artists on Spotify for 2021.
What is the top-streamed song of 2021 on Spotify?
The top-streamed song of 2021 globally on Spotify is “driver’s license” by Olivia Rodrigo, which has been streamed more than 1.1 billion times.
Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” took second place, while The Kid LAROI (feat. Justin Bieber) took third with their hit “STAY.”
Olivia Rodrigo took another place in the top five in the fourth slot, with her song “good 4 u,” and Dua Lipa rounded out the top five with “Levitating” (feat. Da Baby).
