BREAKING: Bill Davis Retiring as President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort

Bill Davis, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Universal Orlando Resort, has announced his retirement effective January 1, 2022.

Davis has served as President and COO for 15 years and is known to Team Members for his hands-on approach. He could often be found dining in Team Member cafeterias and visiting the parks to stay connected.

Davis’s tenure is highlighted by The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal’s Volcano Bay, and many other major accomplishments.

Karen Irwin, the current President and COO of Universal Studios Hollywood, will replace Bill Davis on January 1, 2022. Irwin has served as President and COO for five years, with 30 years of total experience with Universal Parks and Resorts.
