The Riftbreaker Among October's Biggest Steam Launches

Valve has released a list of October's biggest launches on Steam. The criterion for selection was the revenue generated in the first two weeks after launch. The month was full of debuts of long-awaited productions, and titles such as Age of Empires IV, Back 4 Blood, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy or Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles turned out to be hits.

It was also an excellent month for indie games. Games like Inscryption, Legion TD 2 or The Riftbreaker did very well.

Among the biggest launches of October was also Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. This is the first installment of the brand to appear on PC. We hope that a good debut on Steam will encourage the devs to bring other parts of the series to this platform.

Additionally, Elyon was also listed among the best releases. It's a free-to-play MMORPG, so we didn't include it in the table above. Its presence in the table provided by Valve, however, means that in the first two weeks of this F2P game's presence on the market its DLCs and microtransactions have generated impressive revenues.
