CoD: Warzone Heading to the Pacific; New Map and Anti-Cheat Update Inbound

Call of Duty: Vanguard will soon see the launch of season 1. On this occasion, the creators of Warzone will take us to new regions, as well as introduce an update to the game's anti-cheat system.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • December 8 will mark the start of the first season in Call of Duty: Vanguard;
  • This will result in the release of a new map for CoD: Warzone;
  • An update of the anti-cheat system is also planned.

It's been a while since the debut of Call of Duty: Vanguard and the start of the game's season 1 is fast approaching. Players can expect lot of news, some of which applies to CoD: Warzone. On December 8 a new map will be added to the free FPS. Initially, a 24-hour exclusive access will be given to owners of the previous installment of the series.

Developers will enable us to take part in Operation Vulcan, which will take us to the Caldera Island. It will become a new arena for online battles in battle royale mode. Players will have a vast area at their disposal, where we'll find port areas, mines and airports hidden in the jungle. On the island there are also some bigger and smaller towns and military facilities.

Owners of Call of Duty: Vanguard can also expect an earlier visit to yet another location in Warzone. Thanks to the exclusive access before the official launch of the news season, they will also go to Rebirth Island. It's a smaller location, which will be available for pre-release testing only for one day. Afterwards, the arena will be made available to all players.

Additionally, Warzone will receive a lot of new equipment connected with Vanguard. In total, the game will be enriched with forty weapons. The game will also include more than a dozen new operators and many cosmetic elements that will enable the players to stand out on the battlefield.

In addition, the creators have announced that the first season will also mean a new update for the Ricochet anti-cheat system. It is supposed to speed up the detection of cheaters who spoil the gameplay of other PC players. For now, the update will only hit Warzone, but in time it will also include CoD: Vanguard.
